What you can do here
- See five quick number tiles for today: sales, bills, low stock, near expiry, and free AI runs left.
- Tap any tile to open the full screen behind that number.
- Read "Today's briefing", a one-line summary of the day, and send it to yourself on WhatsApp.
- Work through "Today's follow-ups": money to collect, stock expiring soon, stock running low.
- Send a payment reminder to a customer on WhatsApp with one tap.
- Send an expiry list, or a fresh order list, to your distributor on WhatsApp with one tap.
- See month by month Sales Trend and Purchase Trend graphs, hover any month, expand the graph, and tap a month to open the detailed records for that month.
- See two summary tables: Trading and GST, and Business Snapshot. Every row opens the report behind it.
Reading the five KPI tiles
The tiles sit in a row at the top. On a phone they wrap into two per line. Each tile is a link, so tapping anywhere on the tile opens another screen.
| Tile | What the number means | Small text under it | Opens when tapped |
|---|---|---|---|
| Today's sales | Total value of all bills dated today or later, including GST | none | Reports |
| Bills today | How many bills were made today | none | POS Billing |
| Low stock | How many products are at or below their reorder level | at/below reorder | Inventory |
| Near expiry | How many batches expire within 90 days | batches ≤ 90 days | Inventory |
| Free AI runs left | How many free AI assistant runs you still have this plan | "upgrade for more", or a Pro note saying unlimited | Assistant |
Steps
- Open the Dashboard from the menu.
- Wait a moment. While the numbers are loading you will see grey blocks moving gently. That is normal.
- Read the tiles left to right.
- Tap a tile to see the detail behind the number. For example, tap "Low stock" to open Inventory.
Good to know
- Money is always shown in rupees with two decimals, for example ₹12,340.00.
- "Today's sales" uses the bill date, not the time the bill was saved. A bill you date in the future is counted in today's figures too, so do not post-date bills unless you mean to.
- The "Near expiry" tile counts batches, not products. One product with three old batches counts as three. Batches that are already past their date are counted here as well.
- "Free AI runs left" shows the infinity sign on a Pro plan, because Pro has no limit. Pro: unlimited AI assistant runs. On a free or trial plan the tile counts down as you use the assistant, and the small text reads "upgrade for more". For upgrading, write to info@entyti.com.
- The numbers are worked out when the page opens. They do not keep updating on their own. After you make a new bill, open the Dashboard again, or refresh the page, to see the new figures.
- If something goes wrong while loading, a red message appears at the bottom starting with "Failed to load dashboard".
Today's briefing and Send to WhatsApp
Just under the tiles there is a green strip called "Today's briefing". It reads like a sentence: how many bills, the sales value in bold, how many items are low, and how many are expiring. Next to it is a green button, Send to WhatsApp.
Steps
- Read the briefing line, for example "14 bills · ₹18,450.00 · 6 low · 3 expiring".
- Tap Send to WhatsApp.
- WhatsApp opens in a new tab or in the WhatsApp app, with the message already typed.
- Choose who to send it to. You can pick yourself, your partner, your accountant, or a group.
- Tap send in WhatsApp.
The message that gets typed for you looks like this:
*Sharma Medicals - daily briefing*
Sales today: ₹18,450.00 (14 bills)
Low stock: 6 items
Expiring ≤90 days: 3 batches
Good to know
- The app does not send anything by itself. It only opens WhatsApp with the message ready. The message goes from your own WhatsApp number, so the customer or supplier sees your number.
- No phone number is filled in for the briefing, because it is meant for you and your own people. You choose the contact inside WhatsApp.
- You can edit the message inside WhatsApp before sending.
- If nothing happens when you tap, your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for the app and try again.
- Pro: sending bills to customers automatically, without opening WhatsApp yourself, is a Pro feature. The one-tap buttons described in this guide work on every plan.
Today's follow-ups: the daily checklist
Below the briefing is a card called Today's follow-ups, with the line "Three quick checks every morning: money to collect, stock expiring, stock running low". This card is available on every plan.
If there is nothing to chase, you see a green line: "All clear today. Nothing to chase." A section only appears when it has something in it. So on a good day you may see one section, or none.
Each section shows a small amber number badge with its count. Each section shows at most 8 rows, even when the count is higher. A link at the bottom of the section takes you to the full list. The short helper line next to each heading is hidden on small phone screens.
If the follow-up list cannot load, the card shows a small grey line reading "Today's follow-ups could not load", followed by the reason.
Follow-up 1: To Collect
These are customers who still owe you money, where the oldest unpaid bill is a week old or more. Part-paid bills count too. The biggest balance is shown first.
Steps
- Look at the To Collect heading and its number badge.
- Read each row: the customer name, "pending N days" under the name, and the amount they owe on the right.
- Tap Remind next to the customer you want to chase.
- WhatsApp opens with the customer's number already filled in and the reminder already typed.
- Tap send in WhatsApp.
- If the count is more than the rows shown, tap See all N (₹X to collect) at the bottom to open the Outstanding screen.
The reminder message looks like this:
``` Namaste Ramesh Kumar 🙏
Gentle reminder from Sharma Medicals: ₹2,340.00 is pending on your account (oldest bill 12 Jun 2026).
Kindly clear it at your convenience. Thank you! ```
Good to know
- Only customers whose oldest unpaid bill is 7 days old or older appear here. Yesterday's credit does not show up.
- "pending N days" counts from the oldest unpaid bill, not from the newest one.
- The Remind button is greyed out when the customer has no phone number saved. Hold or hover over it and it says "No phone number saved". Add the phone number on the customer record to enable it.
- If you saved a plain 10 digit number, the app adds the India country code 91 for you.
- The total shown in the "See all" link is the total for every overdue customer, not only the ones listed on the card.
Follow-up 2: Expiring soon
These are batches that expire within the next 90 days, plus anything already expired. Soonest expiry comes first. The helper line reads "Sell these first or send back to your distributor before they expire".
Steps
- Look at the Expiring soon heading and its number badge.
- Read each row: the medicine name, then the batch number, packs, and any loose units under it.
- Check the coloured badge on the right. It shows the days left, for example "18d". If the batch is already past its date the badge reads Expired in white on dark red. 30 days or less is red, more than 30 days is amber.
- Pull anything marked Expired off the shelf.
- To tell your distributor, tap Send list at the top right of this section.
- WhatsApp opens with the full list typed out. Choose your distributor and tap send.
- Tap Open Inventory, or See all N in Inventory (₹X at MRP) when there are more items than shown, to work through the whole list.
The list message looks like this:
``` Sharma Medicals - expiring stock list
• Amoxycillin 500 (batch A2231): exp 30 Sep 2026, 4 pack + 6 loose, MRP value ₹480.00 • Cetirizine 10mg: EXPIRED, 2 pack, MRP value ₹90.00
Please arrange return or replacement for these. Thank you! ```
Good to know
- A batch only appears if it still has stock, either full packs or loose units.
- The value shown is at MRP, not at your purchase cost.
- The list sent on WhatsApp contains only the rows shown on the card, up to 8. For a longer return, open Inventory and work from there.
- No phone number is filled in, so pick the distributor yourself inside WhatsApp.
- Nothing is deleted or written off automatically. The app only shows you what to act on.
Follow-up 3: Running low
These are products that have dropped to or below their reorder level. The emptiest product comes first. The helper line reads "Almost out of stock. One tap sends the order list to your distributor on WhatsApp".
Steps
- Look at the Running low heading and its number badge.
- Read each row: the product name on the left, and on the right "X left · order Y", followed by the unit you saved for that product, for example pack or strip. Y is the quantity the app suggests you order.
- Tap Order on WhatsApp at the top right of this section.
- WhatsApp opens with the order list typed out. Choose your distributor and tap send.
- If the count is higher than the rows shown, tap See all N in Inventory.
The order message looks like this:
``` Sharma Medicals - stock order
Please send: 1. Paracetamol 650 - 18 pack (only 2 left) 2. ORS Sachet - 20 strip (only 0 left)
Kindly confirm price and delivery. Thank you! ```
Good to know
- Expired batches are not counted as stock here. If your only stock of a product is expired, the product will show as running low, which is correct.
- The suggested quantity fills you up to double your reorder level, minus what you already have, and is never less than 1. So if your reorder level is 10 and you have 2 left, the app suggests 18.
- Products with a reorder level of 0 never appear here. Set a sensible reorder level on each product in Inventory, otherwise this section stays empty.
- The order message contains only the rows shown on the card, up to 8.
- The app does not place the order. It only writes the message. You send it and confirm price and delivery yourself.
Sales Trend and Purchase Trend graphs
Lower down there are two line graphs side by side: Sales Trend in green and Purchase Trend in grey. Each one shows one point per month. Under the title it says "In Lakhs · hover a month · click to open", and the left side of the graph is labelled "In Lakhs".
If you have not made any sale or purchase yet, the graphs are replaced by a line saying "No sales or purchases yet. Ring up a sale in POS Billing to see trends here", with a link straight to POS Billing.
Steps
- Move your finger or mouse across the graph.
- The month you are on turns bold at the bottom, a dotted line appears, and a small dark box shows the month and the exact amount, for example "Mar-26 · ₹4,82,300.00".
- Tap or click a month on Sales Trend to open Reports filtered to that whole month, first day to last day.
- Tap or click a month on Purchase Trend to open the Purchases screen for that month.
- To see the graph bigger, tap the small expand icon at the top right of the card. Hold over it and it says "Expand graph".
- Tap the same icon again to go back. It now says "Collapse graph".
Good to know
- Amounts on the graph are in lakhs, so 4.8 on the scale means about ₹4,80,000. The tooltip always shows the full rupee amount.
- The largest month is drawn with a bigger filled dot so your best month stands out.
- Months with no business still appear, drawn at zero, so the line does not jump over gaps.
- Sales values include GST. Purchase values are the total on the purchase bill.
- When the graph is expanded you also get the exact number printed above each point, and a scrollable Month / Amount table under the graph. Tapping a row in that table opens the same month as tapping the point.
- The graphs are built from your bill history. Very large histories are read up to a limit, and the line starts at your first month of business and covers at most 60 months, so a shop with more than five years of history may not see its most recent months here. If a month looks missing, check Reports for the true figure.
Trading and GST table
Under the graphs is a table titled Trading & GST with two columns, Particulars and Amount. Every row can be tapped and shows "View details".
| Row | What it is | Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Gross Sales (incl. GST) | Total of all your bills, tax included | Reports |
| Taxable value | Sale value before GST | Reports |
| CGST collected | Central GST on your sales | Reports |
| SGST collected | State GST on your sales | Reports |
| GST output (total) | CGST plus SGST, shown in bold | Reports |
| Purchases (at cost) | Total of all your purchase bills | Purchases |
Steps
- Read the row you need.
- Tap the row to open the screen with the full working behind it.
Good to know
- These totals cover your whole history in the app, not just today or this month. For a date range, use Reports.
- Pro: GST return files, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and sending them to your accountant, are Pro features. This table is only a summary on screen.
Business Snapshot table
The second table is Business Snapshot, also with Particulars and Amount, and also fully tappable.
| Row | What it is | Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Total bills | How many sale bills you have made in total | Reports |
| Products | How many products are in your catalogue | Inventory |
| Suppliers | How many suppliers you have saved | Purchases |
| Low stock | Same count as the Low stock tile | Inventory |
| Near expiry (≤90d) | Same count as the Near expiry tile, shown in bold | Inventory |
Steps
- Read the row you need.
- Tap it to open Reports, Inventory, or Purchases.
Common questions
The numbers look old. What do I do? Open the Dashboard again or refresh the page. The Dashboard works out its numbers once, when the page opens.
Why does the "Low stock" tile show a different number from the "Running low" section? The tile counts every product that is at or below its reorder level. The "Running low" follow-up ignores products whose reorder level is 0, because those are items you have chosen not to keep stocked, and it ignores expired stock. So the tile number can be higher.
Why does the "Near expiry" tile differ from the "Expiring soon" count? The tile counts batches that still have full packs. The follow-up also counts batches where only loose units are left. Both use the same 90 day window.
Only 8 rows show in each follow-up. Where are the rest? The card shows the top 8 so it stays readable on a phone. The badge and the link at the bottom always show the true total. Tap "See all" to open the full list in Outstanding or Inventory.
Does the app send WhatsApp messages by itself? No. Every button here opens WhatsApp with the message already typed. You choose the contact and press send. The message goes from your own number.
The Remind button will not press. That customer has no phone number saved. Open the customer record, add the mobile number, then come back.
Why is my customer not in "To Collect"? Their oldest unpaid bill is less than 7 days old, or the account is fully paid.
What does "Expired" in dark red mean? That batch is already past its expiry date. Remove it from the shelf immediately and include it in your return list.
How is the suggested order quantity decided? It tops you up to twice your reorder level. Reorder level 10, stock 2, suggestion 18. It is never less than 1. Change the reorder level in Inventory to change the suggestion.
The graph says "In Lakhs". What is my exact figure? Hover or tap the month. The small dark box shows the exact rupee amount. Expanding the graph also prints a table of exact amounts.
